Ceppo Chiaro
Ceppo Chiaro is a beautiful stone, quarried around Lake Iseo, Lombardy Italy. The name derives from the local Milanese dialect to mean rock with pebbles as the stone was formed by the cementation and compression of ancient dolomite pebbles by glacial ice over millennia. Used in architecture since Roman times, Ceppo Chiaro is highly sought after by architects and designers for its hardwearing characteristics and bold movement.
